Tower Bridge to 1812 Overture

Another day in the hot house! Our apartment bedroom registered 27 degrees last night. We actually rigged up a bowl of water with ice in it and a fan blowing across. It helped!
Each day promises an end in sight to the heat wave but the end keeps moving! Hilariously (or not) the first sign of rain is the day we have tickets for an outdoor theatre in Regent's Park!!
So we are slower getting going today but soon heading out to walk across Tower Bridge then over to South Kensington and Knightsbridge. We are taking the bus this time - a chance to see where we are going. The trip (two bus lines) takes us through some of the most famous real estate in the world:The Tower to St Paul's to Trafalgar to Piccadilly Circus to Hyde Park Corner to Kensington. We'll wander the area until tonight when I'm going to St Albert's Hall to experience the "passion, magic and drama of Tchaikovsky. Finale is 1812 Overture of course. An over the top way of experiencing the beautiful hall.
