Our flight over was loooong just like our plane. We flew on a British Airways air bus - an enormous two-story plane with engines bigger than our apartment (can seat 800). It was 50 minutes late arriving because of technical trouble in London so they dumped excess fuel to lighten the load and we flew back pretty much on schedule. The plane is big but the cheap seats are small and it might be my last flight tied up like a cork screw with the seat in front of me pushed back under my chin.
We are in a tiny but comfortable one-bedroom apartment around the corner from Whitechapel tube station in the midst of a Muslim community. We passed a street market selling beautiful long scarves many of the women wear. Cosmopolitan London on display.
Okay, some sleep and stretching are in order. Have a kebab too- delicious!
